The scrip program is an ongoing fundraiser for your children and for ELS.  On the first Tuesday of every month, including summer months, ELS will order gift cards through our scrip program.  Families pick up their order on the following Friday after 2 pm in the school office. 

How is buying and selling scrip cards a fundraiser for my child? 

1. •Our 8th grade class takes a trip every year.   Buying gift cards helps raise money for that trip.  The trip fund per child is now $300.  Families earn either 2% or 4% off ANY Scrip cards they purchase!  The percentage you earn from purchases will go toward your child's 8th grade trip.  
   

2. •Earning money off your tuition!! When your child's trip account reaches $300, you will then receive the 2% or 4% of your purchases off of your tuition for the following year.

*For example, when you purchase scrip cards during this summer and the 2010-2011 school year, your percentage totals will accumulate and then will be deducted as a total from your tuition for the 2011-2012 school year.  If you leave ELS, then your Scrip Funds remain with the school.

How is buying and selling scrip cards a fundraiser for ELS?

The remainder of the percentage listed per gift card goes to ELS.   The top of the order form has the cards listed from which you'll receive 2%.  The lower section contains the cards listed from which you'll receive 4%.  The remainder of the percentage listed will go toward the school. 

Scrip cards will now be available in the school office for purchasing. 

Not all scrip cards will be available in the office.  The list of cards available in the office is below.  If your purchasing cards the office has on hand, you will be able to 'shop' and take home your order right then.  If you don't see the card you want, please remember to place an order at the beginning of the month!  

1. •During the school year families can purchase cards between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. 
   

2. •During the summer the scheduling of office hours are more flexible, respectfully the hours will be 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.  A phone call prior to coming in to arrange an order or pick-up is suggested. 
   

You'll be surprised at how fast you can get to that $300 balance when buying gift cards at establishments in which you already frequent!  You can sell to anyone!  Anyone can purchase through the school office for your family too!  Please make sure they know to place your name in the 'Name of family proceeds go to' line or you will not get credit for that purchase.  This must be filled out!!
